How it works
Two paths, one standard. Talk to a Kavaach Saathi on WhatsApp, or compare and buy yourself on the portal. Either way, you decide.
Path one: your Kavaach Saathi
A four-stage conversation with a real person.
- Share. Send your policy on WhatsApp as a PDF or a photo of the schedule page. Tell us who it's for.
- Review. A Saathi reads it line by line: cover, exclusions, limits, waiting periods, nominee, and fit against your life or business.
- Insights. You get a plain-language summary of what's fine, what's a gap, and what your options are, including 'do nothing'.
- Decide. Keep, fix, add, port or compare. If you choose to act, the policy is placed through a licensed IRDAI-registered broker and issued by the insurer.
Path two: compare it yourself
A self-serve portal at insurance.kavaach.in.
- Mobile number. Enter your number on the portal.
- OTP. Verify with the one-time password you receive.
- Compare. Land on a comparison dashboard and compare motor, health and other policies side by side.
- Buy, or don't. Purchase when you're ready, at your own pace. If you'd like a human opinion first, the WhatsApp button is always there.
Both paths converge on the same point
You always decide. No urgency, no pressure, no 'offer ends tonight'.

A helping hand, not a replacement for one
Kavya is Kavaach's assistant. She helps with the routine parts of a conversation: collecting documents, answering common questions about the process, and scheduling a callback. She does not review policies or make recommendations; a Kavaach Saathi does that. When you talk to Kavaach, you'll always know whether you're speaking with Kavya or with a person.
What Kavya can help with
- Telling you what documents to send
- Explaining how a review works and how long it takes
- Answering general questions about the process
- Connecting you to a Saathi
Frequently asked questions
Is the review really free?
Yes. A Kavaach review is complimentary and carries no obligation. If you later choose to buy or change a policy, that policy is placed through a licensed IRDAI-registered broker and issued by the insurer; Kavaach itself is not an insurer, broker or agent.
How long does a review take?
Most individual reviews come back within one to two working days on WhatsApp. Business policies with multiple lines can take a little longer; we'll tell you upfront.
What if the review says my policy is fine?
Then we say so. A large share of reviews end with 'keep it, and fix one small thing'. We have no reason to tell you otherwise.
Is my data safe?
Policy documents you share on WhatsApp are used only to review your policy and respond to you. See our privacy policy for how we handle WhatsApp, form and portal data.
Can I use both paths?
Absolutely. Many people start on the portal to get a sense of the options and then ask a Saathi to sanity-check their shortlist, or the other way round.
Start with a conversation, or start on your own
Either way, it's complimentary, there's no obligation, and the decision is always yours.
Complimentary review. No obligation. You always decide.
