Who we are
Kavaach ("we", "us") operates kavaach.in and the self-serve portal at insurance.kavaach.in. Our office is at F-25, Sewak Park, Dwarka Mod, New Delhi-110059. You can reach us at contact@kavaach.in or +91 92115 15485.
What we collect and why
WhatsApp conversations. When you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number, your name as shown on WhatsApp, and whatever you send us, including policy documents. We use this only to review your policy, answer your questions and follow up on your enquiry.
Contact form. The form on this website does not send data to any server. It composes a WhatsApp message on your device, which you review and send yourself. Nothing you type is stored by kavaach.in.
Self-serve portal (insurance.kavaach.in). To use the portal you enter a mobile number and verify it with a one-time password (OTP). The number is used to authenticate you, to save your comparison session, and to contact you about a quote or purchase you start. Policy purchases on the portal are completed with the respective insurer through a licensed IRDAI-registered insurance broker, whose own privacy terms also apply to that transaction.
Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, buttons clicked). IP addresses are anonymised. You can block analytics cookies in your browser without affecting the site.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records and documents for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep a record of the advice given, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your documents at any time by writing to contact@kavaach.in.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the licensed IRDAI-registered broker and the insurer involved when you choose to proceed with a policy, with service providers who help us operate (for example messaging and hosting), and where required by law.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, ask us to delete it, and withdraw consent to be contacted. Write to contact@kavaach.in and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Terms of use
What Kavaach is and isn't
Kavaach is an independent insurance policy review and renewal-clarity service. Kavaach is not an insurer, insurance broker or insurance agent. We do not issue policies, underwrite risk, collect premiums or settle claims. Where you choose to buy or change a policy after a review or through the portal, the policy is issued by the respective insurer and placed through a licensed IRDAI-registered insurance broker.
Nature of a review
A review is a plain-language explanation of what a policy covers, excludes and requires, and how it appears to fit the circumstances you describe. It is general information to help you decide, not a guarantee of any outcome. We do not guarantee premiums, savings, claim approval or the availability of any product. All decisions about buying, keeping, changing or cancelling a policy are yours.
No rebates or inducements
Kavaach does not offer rebates, cash-backs or any inducement in connection with any insurance policy. Reviews are complimentary and carry no obligation.
Accuracy of information you provide
A review is only as good as the documents and facts shared. Please share complete and current policy documents. Disclosures to an insurer remain your responsibility.
